I've actually been rereading parts of the manga while waiting for things to upload and render or while doing other things about the house...and I haven't met any character like Tereus in the manga, even in passing. However, Arges is in there (under another name), and the man from Poseidon with the scar is in there...names Aruges. Fancy that.

Yup. He was a big, bulky, black guy. That's manga-speak, though. I adhere to the written word on any movie-from-media (Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, Appleseed, Howl's Moving Castle...)

My friend and I ranted on Tereus' appearance because he totally doesn't look like Briareos from the first movie! Black? I didn't think he was black, just a little tanned. But either way, Briareos was SO BULKY. And then there's thin Tereus. -_-Oh well, it was a good movie anyways.

Well, if he's suppose to be Bri's clone, they so got it wrong. Briareos was a black man. They got the good-looking part right...but yeah. He was a black man from the Mediterranean region. (And for anyone reading this that's going 0.o, Deunan's grandmother was black as well. I don't care, but some people apparently do. *shrugs*)

Oooh, honey. That's not a mask. Briareos is a cyborg...and Tereus (the human) is his clone. Depends on if you adhere to movie or manga, but either way, Deunan and Briareos are professional and personal partners (last few manga she had wedding bells in her mind). Which is why so many are up in arms--Tereus looks identical to Bri before the incident that nearly killed him during the Global War. |
