A real throw-back, to 1963. This is the mysterious Henrietta with a doo-woppy soul that has been a huge favorite in Pgh. for 40+ years. I do know she cut a few records for Liberty in the early 60's, one as 'Henrietta and the Hairdooz'. Chicago-St. Louis arranger Eddie Silvers put the smooth, but almost ominous doo-wop feel on this disc. Henrietta's vocal makes it a backseat classic. A real Pittsburgh record in every sense, slow, romantic, and with an early soulful edge. Reminds me of the China Wall, Danny's, and the South Park Drive-In. Had to be Here.
