Mr. Backos helps Nicholas learn his music for marching band this year, as Max (his dog) and Nicholas look on. (You may notice little noises and video clips of them, as we recorded Mr. Backos.) Today's lesson was about helping Nicholas learn how the parts lock into the bigger whole of the music. We received Nicholas' xylophone parts only about three days before marching band began, so, we had decided to train his ear first, before anything else. These sets of videos will help do that.
