I'm sure she was appreciative of her awards. It's just that after such a long time out of the show business and after all the publically covered mistakes she's done, she is right to be shy.And yes, I think Britney would get FAR more votes than the Jonas Brothers. She has been around for ten years and probably has the biggest fan base these days.

lol..your 13 hun of course u think the Jonas fags have a better video.. its called being bias, you'll learn it at school soon i'm sure. i gave my unbiased opinion of which tracks were better because i doubt they voted her best video based on the video alone... just becus she's been around for a long time means NOTHING! she never won an award for a reason. she wus always too suggestive & made wayyy too many stupid mistakes in her life. yeah her song is awesome but she still didnt deserve to win. she wusnt even appreciative of her awards. u can tell it wus all an act & she payed the vma's to give her those awards. i mean coommeeee onnn do u really think she'd get more votes then JB!? im not tryna argue either, i just wanna say wut i feel.

okay its called VIDEO music awards. not who's song is beter! yeah maybe Peice of Me is a better song than Burning Up but definetly not a better video! all she wus doing in her video wus dancing down a pole like a slut & the Jonas Brothers actually did fun entertaining stuff in their video. they deserved it more than she did. their amazing people. & people gotta stop basing stuff on who they like and wut they like & actually go by who's video is better.
