**Original P.O.V. the next morning**Kevin- (Walked down the winding staircase to see Joe looking undead hunched over chocolate chip pancakes and drinking a big glass of chocolate milk. 'Oh no here comes D.J. Hyper' he thought. He walked into the kitchen grabbing scrambled eggs off the granite countertop that his mom had just set down so they were still hot. He went up to his mom, who was making bacon, and kissed her on the cheek)Nick- Good morning, mom! I see you're in the mood to cook this morning....?Mrs. Jonas- Good morning sweetie. And yes I am. Nick- Why is that? Not that I'm complaining! I love your cooking! (Correcting his questioning.) Mrs. Jonas- Mhm, well I'm in a good mood today. Did you boys stay up too late last night?Nick- No why?Mrs. Jonas- (points to Joe who is shoveling pancakes in his mouth so slowly but so many at a time that he looks completely undead now... not a pretty sight.)Nick- Oh. Well, what can I say, he's Joe. (Laughing with his mom)*Nick started eating with Joe who was soon joined by their dad and mom***With Kevin and Kayla still out on the hill, just woke up. About 9:00 am. **Kevin- (He woke up with Kayla laying on his chest with her arms wrapped around his torso. He yawned and smiled then gently nudged her so that she rolled off of him stretching out taking her hand and grabbing his.Kayla- (whispering) Good morning, sunshine. (She winced at the bright sun.)Kevin- (looking over at Kayla) Good morning, beautiful.Kayla- Do I have something in my teeth? (She opened her mouth real wide showing her teeth.)Kevin- (looking at her like she had lost her mind) what are you talking about?Kayla- Well, you seem to stare at me a lot...Kevin- I'm sorry. Does it bother you? I only stare because I can't look away. (he said falling deeper into her eyes getting more lost with each word she spoke to him)Kayla- Aw babe, I wish that you could stay right here and never move away from me forever! (She was stuck in his gaze adoring him like he was angel shining as bright as a star right in her face.)Kevin- (He hugged her tight to him and lifted up sitting now.) Alright they're probably wondering where we are. We should go in and get breakfast.Kayla- (She gave him a long desperate look and saw the answer to her question was what she didn't want.) Fine. But if you leave my side for more than a second you'll be sorry! (she gave him a playfully evil look)Kevin- Deal. I won't even look away from you for more than a second, I'm not capable of it! (They stood up and he hugged her, kissed her and they headed inside.)*Kevin and Kayla walked in the back door leading to the kitchen/dining room (not the only dining room btw) and Joe was almost passed out in the pancakes, or what was left of them, their mom was cleaning the table with Nick helping, and their dad was about to go upstairs to get ready for the day when he saw them walk in.*Mrs. Jonas- Good morning! Pancakes?Nick- Where were you? (Looking suspicious)Kevin- morning mom I would like eggs, and Nick...Kayla- Good morning, I'll have toast and Jelly please.Mrs. Jonas- (Smiling like a mother would) Ok sweeties, coming right up.Nick- You didn't answer the question Kev.Mr. Jonas- Yeah Kevin, where were yo.... Joe- (Half asleep and slurring his words and cutting off his dad) WILL YOU ALL PLEASE STOP NO ONE CAN SLEEP AROUND HERE! (He stormed off to god knows where and everyone watched in the direction he left in amazement and confusion.)Kayla- (Breaking the silence) we fell asleep on the little hill outback and we just woke up.Kevin- Yeah.Mrs. Jonas- Don't worry Kev we believe you guys! Ok breakfast is on the table help yourselves.Kayla- (walks over to the table) Thanks Mrs. J!Mrs. Jonas- Oh your welcome sweetie! (still smiling that mom smile)Kevin- I'm going to go sit down now...Nick- Just remember Kevin Jonas I'm watching you! (Playing around like he is a cop giving the final warning to a Delinquent)Mr. Jonas- Alright you all behave. I'll get your brother up and then get ready so keep the peace please.
