Also the background for the American Bully is pretty dark and it's supposed to be a X between UKC's APBTs and AKC's AmStaffs. Many people say that judging by their look and size there's some english mastiff in them... But again I can't prove this to be either true or false. Ziggy's papers say American Pit Bull Terrier, so I suppose that must be his breed. I also have 3 other bullies with no registration that "look more pitbull or game", but aren't Purple Ribbon or have as much ancstrs as Zig.

I'm sorry to disagree and I might be wrong but, there is no way to determine the exact breeds it came from with a DNA test. You can determine if the DNA is compatible with the parents proving only that he was bred from them. What your basically saying is that you can tell that a person has chineese in them by the color of their skin. And dogs have more chromosomes than humans(so go figure). Anyways APBTs can have any color skin; merle being the only controversial one.

If you ever see a pit that looks like it might have mild to moderate hip dysplasia tell them to give it a Glucosamine pill daily My AmStaff weighs about 65 lbs & has been on it for 3 years. He went from yelping with pain to flying off the couch again! It saved his life. You can see him on YT at Lord Gandor he is the one on the left bigger dogs may require 1 1/2 - 2 pills a day

Razors Edge had to have crossed some where along the line. You can google dog DNA you can get a kit for as cheap as 50 dollars. You swab the dogs mouth and mail it back to the lab & they will tell you what breeds make up your dog. Do not tell them what your dog looks like. If you were my neighbor I would be willing to bet you the cost of the test that your good looking American Bully has Rottweiller in his line which would explain the tri coloring

I'll just reply here as well in case any1 has the same question. He's still too young to be bred (8months). So no and no, at least not yet and not for a while (12-14months more).

lol... no cross... pure pitbull...It's an UKC registered APBT(American Pit Bull Terrier) but most people will say and most people will recognize him as an American Bully.
