Hey, thanks for reading! Please comment, rate, share, and subscribe.Lunch. It's my favorite 43 minutes of the day. No work, no one singing to me, yeah, I like lunch. "You will never guess what happened during chorus today!" Aly said while sitting down."They don't want to hear about that," I shot back."Hear what?" one girl turned to me."Oh, well-" Aly stopped talking and looked at me."What?" I asked her. She looked behind me."Sorry if I'm interrupting anything.." I turn around and look up, it's Nick."Oh, nope, we were just talking about-" I kicked Melissa. "Ow! How much I got ripped off for this lunch. I mean, I wanted more food than this!"We all looked at her. "What? I wanted more food!"Nick looked around, "Anyway, I just wanted to ask if you'd want to come to our show tonight. My band's playing a show downtown, and I maybe thought you could come.""Oh sure! Thanks!""Great! Oh, you all can come too if you'd like," Nick said to my friends."Sounds good," Liz said."Cool, see you there," he walked back to his lunch table."Bye!" I smiled.Aly widened her eyes, "Did that just happen?"I nodded, "Oh, yes, yes it did. Or I hope so!""Nope, I think it did! You so like him," Melissa said."We'll see...""So who's in his band?" Liz asked."No clue," Aly said."I think his brothers are," Melissa looked at us."His brothers?" Aly looked confused."I only know of one brother, Joe," I said."And Kevin, he's in college now," Melissa said."Ohhh, yeah. I remember him," Aly said nodding her head."And they have a little brother, Frankie, but I don't think he's in the band," Melissa said.Liz looked at her, "How do you know all this?""Oh, I live right down the street from them." [A.N. Had to add that bc of her fanfic]"You guys are coming tonight, right?" I looked at my friends."Yeah, for sure!" Liz said. This is just a build-up chapter. I hate writing when it comes to for school, like when I'm forced to and have expectations. I still have one essay to do, but that's due later in the week. I'll save that for study halls. This song's "Stupid For You" by Marie Digby just incase you're wondering. |
