This is the story, here it comes again.[ Something, Don't Know What ]Sometimes it's likeWhat do you want from God?I want to know what I'm doingI just want to know what I'm doing.With no sleepNo time spent otherwiseThis life is only so muchAnd to be gone for eight hours a night...I just can't feature that...(Chelsea once told me)She envied that I knew so wellJust where my life was goingBut maybe that makes it worseMakes it harderIn a wayBecause now I knowNothing less will satisfy meSometimes it's likeSitting screaming to myselfStaying awakeSo I won't dreamSometimes it's likeDepression without reasonA headache without painLike hands pressing down on me from within myselfSometimes it's likeContact and interactionSeeing things with a better mindSurgery for spiritual eyesSometimes it's likePeople thinking they can feel your painAs if we're universalAnd we all hurt the sameSometimes it's likePeople making you shareThen running offWhen it gets a little rough(But I don't even tell myself most of this stuff)Sometimes it's like(Fate is)All the great untruthsLike a future you can't avoidOr alter despite your effortsSometimes it's like(Destiny is)Taking you outAnd pulling you inMaking sense of all the nothingSo I want to know what I'm doingI just want to know what I'm doing...Steve Skafte © 2008(Berserker)
